Edily's Story
When Jackson, our founder, took high school English from his most inspirational teacher, Mrs. Purcell, the value of her classes was not in pages read or words written, but in the moments of inspiration that she passed to her students. She planted the seeds for socially conscious leadership in her students by recounting stories of lives in desperate need of a new system of education in inner- city schools. Her charge to her current students was to drive inspiration and lead change. Edily hopes to inspire students and drive change by addressing key problems for both students and educators.
What started as a project out of UCLA Anderson will hope to expand from one classroom to thousands more, facilitating a new perspective for an education-based product desperately needed in a distance learning world after a global pandemic.
